Proposals Sought for 2016 Summer Research and Curriculum Development

The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Office of Faculty Development are seeking proposals for Faculty Summer Research and Curriculum Development Support. Detailed requirements for proposal submission are available on the Office of the Provost forms web page under faculty development forms tab. Guidelines for Summer Research Support are delineated under Item #4.  Priority will be given to proposals that include some form of faculty mentorship for undergraduate student research.

Awards will be made in the amount of $5,000. Successful recipients will be required to submit a final report and may be asked to participate in the Faculty Research Colloquium. Additionally, recipients must serve as a faculty mentor for a student to participate in the university-wide Undergraduate Research Symposium. Send your completed faculty development form and four-page proposal (three pages for narrative and one page for the budget) to Mrs. Dawn Cole, James A. Bowser Building, Suite 118, by 5 p.m., April 4, 2016.
