NSU Rolls Out New Logo

 

Norfolk State University will unveil a new brand, logo and tagline August 15-29, with a series of pop-up events during a brand launch rollout campaign. The new logo, designed by the University’s Communications and Marketing department and partner Fuseideas — a marketing and public relations firm based in Boston — is the culmination of a 18-month journey of research including discussion and focus groups, surveys and workshops. NSU’s Communications and Marketing and Fuseideas spent months surveying the University’s diverse publics including current students, faculty, alumni, staff, board of visitors members, business and community leaders. One of the main themes emerging from the research was the deep regard students and alumni hold for the institution.

NSU’s brand position statement, based on survey results from its stakeholders, reads, “Norfolk State University has transformed the lives of generations of students and alumni who have gone on to rewarding lives and careers, often exceeding their own expectations. They credit their success to the opportunities they began to see for themselves, and prepare for, at Norfolk State.”

  • Wednesday, August 23 – Brambleton Community Center: Gymnasium – 12: 30 p.m.
  • Friday, August 25 – NSU Student Center: Lobby – 12:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 29 – Brown Hall Replacement Building: Lobby – 12:30 p.m.
